COVID-19 MESSAGE

Dear Clients,

With the coronavirus pandemic continuously changing, the Wilson Toellner CPA leadership team wants to assure you that we are closely monitoring the situation. We have the utmost concern for the safety and well-being of our clients and our team. Our firm has been at the forefront of technology and our proven business continuity plan is readily implemented.

We believe it is critical for us all to do our part to curb the spread of the coronavirus. Through careful consideration, we have made the decision to work with our clients through phone, email, mail and drop off of information only.  Our offices will be closed to the public.  Members of our team will be in our offices from 8:00 – 5:00 Monday through Friday to collect items that have been dropped off.

We urge you to use our secure SafeSend Portal whenever possible. If you need assistance, we are here to walk you through step-by-step, email us at covid19@wtcpa.com or call us at our offices listed below.  If bringing information to the office, use the convenient drop off. However, if other arrangements need to be made to get your information to our office, please reach out. 

If it becomes necessary, our team is fully equipped to work remotely in an efficient and secure manner without any interruption to the quality and timeliness of service. Rest assured, we will immediately communicate via email any changes to our work environment. 

We do want to update the news regarding the upcoming April 15th tax filing deadline. As of today (March 20th), the April 15th filing deadline has been extended to July 15th. Originally, only the payment deadline was extended to July 15th. Our team members continue to work toward completing tax returns as we receive client information.

Tax Clients
We greatly appreciate those who have already submitted their tax information and we are working hard on your return. If you have not submitted your information, please submit your documents as soon as possible. The SafeSend portal link above is the most secure and efficient way to submit your information. As mentioned above, if bringing tax information to the office, use the convenient tax drop off. However, if other arrangements need to be made to get your information to our office, please reach out. 

Payroll Clients
We will contact you individually to coordinate any payroll checks that are not direct deposit.  We will ensure that your payroll services will continue without disruption and communicate with you a plan that works for you.  We are receiving new information regarding unemployment, sick leave and payroll tax requirements continuously.  Please reach out to us with any questions you have and to discuss your specific situation.

While we are all living in a state of uncertainty, the entire Wilson Toellner team is committed to serving our clients. We are keeping abreast of all IRS and government announcements as it relates to the coronavirus and that includes any taxpayer relief that may be formalized in the coming weeks.
